About Zheng's Ship

The ship is designed as a key interactive set piece, equipped with cannons used during a major naval battle sequence. A significant technical challenge was conveying the experience of sailing up a river towards the sky. The solution involved keeping the ship itself static, acting as the playable level, while the entire background environment moves past it to create the illusion of navigating the floating river.

The asset's lifecycle is scripted. The fleet must first be reconquered from monsters. It is later largely destroyed in a trap , with a single surviving vessel being saved by another character's special abilities.
